Human is a work of art that develops step by step.
Creativity and movement have been with me my whole life. My interest in the human body has been present in both my work and my life – movement has always been a part of me. Sometimes it has been more intense sports, and other times lighter, balancing movement. But the most important thing has been that movement has been a way for me to feel good and live without pain.
In the last decade, great sorrow stopped me in my tracks. As it deepened, I thought that by pushing myself harder, I would get more energy and strength. But the truth was different – I needed calm movement, presence, and love for my body.I had two choices: to sink deeper into sorrow and overload, or to calm down, find gratitude, and live from love.
Day by day, I began to change my routines. I left behind the sports and martial arts that overloaded my nervous system, and I found pilates.

I began my journey with a change of mind, and it was time to return to my body – my dear home that carried me through the sorrow. My love for pilates deepened, and I decided to study it thoroughly.
After graduating as a pilates instructor from Basi Academy, my long-time dream of creating my own wellness app started to become a reality.
In December 2025, I launched my app, PULSE (only in Finnish), and I'm happy that many practitioners have been part of my journey from the beginning. Their connection to themselves has grown stronger, and their lives have changed for the better.
I can't change how anyone thinks or feels, but I offer my art to bring you emotions, thoughts, and experiences.

DOES PILATES FIT INTO YOUR LIFE?
Pilates is a movement that connects the mind and body, and it is suitable for everyone. Its purpose is to strengthen the muscles of the core (the powerhouse), so that daily life becomes stronger and lighter. The movements are done slowly and precisely, in sync with the breath. Proper breathing is the key to balancing both body and mind – it supports your spine, improves your posture, and brings peace while clearing your mind.
Pilates movements strengthen the body's smallest stabilizing muscles, which are often neglected in gym training or one-sided exercises. Controlled, flowing movements ensure that your body moves safely along its natural range of motion.
Training should always begin with the basics – even if you are an athlete, as it is the foundation that enables more advanced movements. Every movement requires presence and full-body activation. These movements were developed by Joseph Pilates.
The best way to start is by training with an instructor – this way, you get the best guidance and support for strong practice.

WORKSHOP
In March 2025, we organized the CHAKRA JOURNEY workshop together with Marjut Nyberg. We explored what chakras are and how they are connected to us. We also looked at how you can connect with these Eastern energy centers through our physiology. We found strength through the pilates practice I led, and let go with the help of Marjut's gentle yin yoga and meditation.
