What do you see when you imagine yourself after a long life—
when your face carries the lines of everything you've lived through?
For a long time, I believed I wouldn't live to be very old.
My parents passed away young, and that shaped my thinking.
But we are not our parents.
We're not our grandparents either, even though people talk a lot about genetics.
Maybe it's worth looking into epigenetics too—how life shapes our genes, not just the other way around.
Yes, a part of them lives in us,
but we are our own whole beings.
We get to write our own story.
So I decided to tell mine differently.
My goal is to live to be a hundred.
To live in a way that every day I strive to be the best version of myself.
To respect the people around me.
To see the world with a broader perspective.
To understand myself more deeply and live my life by my own truth.
To take care of my thoughts, my body, and everything that makes me me.
And that actually makes me pretty happy.
